About Me

I was born in '69 in an amazing isolated area called Oak Flatts north of Kingston.

I grew up primarily there until my parents moved to Ottawa in the mid 70's.

Yes, those years with the best fashions.

I am an avid nature enthusiast, wood carver, retired stonemason/bricklayer and journalism graduate from Algonquin College.

I have numerous, varied interests from art to zebras, mostly due to an over inquisitive nature which has plagued me my entire life.

I have a passion for storytelling, wildlife, meeting interesting characters, and whittling for fun.

I have written for both the Algonquin Times and Glue Magazine publishing a variety of stories around student life.

I enjoy highlighting the people who make a difference to society in my writings and strive to change negative views about media.

Over decades I have held many positions in the workforce, enjoying the lessons in life each offered, but have found a new passion in writing.
